Product Focus

Product Responsibilities: Management of the ShareASale product team and roadmap. As the Head of Product, I oversaw the ShareASale product team and roadmap. Under my tenure, I introduced agile development methodologies to the product and engineering groups. I served as the product owner. My responsibilities included managing stakeholders, gathering and incorporating client feedback, and leveraging data insights to define the product vision and roadmap for ShareASale.

Product design and data-driven decision making philosophy: I strongly believe in data-driven design and analyzing the cost/benefit of projects. In my role, I utilized my expertise in data analysis to demonstrate the potential impact of projects, ensuring their alignment with the roadmap. I leveraged analytics and customer data metrics in order to guide my design of ShareASale’s products. My focus is on translating customer needs, guided by data, into impactful web products.

Co-Current Responsibilities

Director of Integrations & Technical Services: I provided strategic guidance for the Integrations & Technical Services department, overseeing the manager and team lead reporting to me. To foster collaboration between product and technical customer support, I invested in cross-training employees on product and engineering practices. This approach creates a nexus organization, enabling client-first ideas to flow into the product roadmap and ensuring swift and responsive support for clients’ technical needs.

Crisis Commander of ShareASale: I held the role of Crisis Commander Officer, responsible for coordinating efforts during ShareASale emergencies. In this capacity, I collaborated with engineering, customer service teams, marketing, and leadership to effectively manage crisis situations and ensure prompt resolution.

Previous Focuses

Chair of Compliance Committee: After serving on the compliance committee and directly managing network compliance, I trained the U.S. members of the centrally managed compliance team on ShareASale’s compliance practices. I rolled responsibility over to the compliance team and served as chair of the committee throughout the transition of duties.

Senior Manager of Integrations and Customer Support: managed both the Integrations team and Affiliate / Merchant customer support teams. This role involved creating service solutions for ShareASale customers throughout the lifecycle of their campaigns. I developed and mentored staff, creating career ladders for my team and helping them to become leaders or strong individual contributors depending on their strengths. During my tenure, I shepherded the company through the depreciation of our original 3rd party cookie tracking methodology to mass 1st party cookie adoption.

Grew and scaled a 30k per year new-to-market self-service affiliate product to an over 2MM per year book of business. Developed processes for self-service and agency clients from account lifecycle from launch, through customer support, and to account closure. Created recruitment processes and lists adopted by the wider business. Learned about and cross-promoted various Google products.
